Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that as a result of a digital system, the working farmers of the country are getting information about agriculture easily.
The Prime Minister made the remarks at the awarding ceremony of Bangabandhu National Agriculture Award 1424 through video conferencing from Ganobhaban on Sunday morning.
The Prime Minister further said that the government has set up agriculture windows to get agricultural information easily. Farmers will easily get agricultural information from this platform. At the same time, the number of community radios has been increased.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called upon the people to stay safe and to keep families safe, noting that the number of people infected and dying from coronavirus has increased in the second wave of the pandemic.
This time 32 individuals and organizations received the National Agriculture Award 1424. Agriculture Minister on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from the Osmani Memorial Auditorium. Abdur Razzak handed over the medals to the awardees. Fisheries and Livestock Minister S. M. Rezaul Karim and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
